The Carinthia HIG Cold Protection Jacket in 5-colour German Camouflage (used by KSK) is a modern, high-quality cold protection jacket, suitable for use up to temperatures of -20°C. This is the current service jacket of the German armed forces. It also has waterproof exterior zippers, an integrated hood and is made of GORE WINDSTOPPER windproof and waterproof material. The size of the jacket is slightly smaller than the "standard" Carinthia jackets. Please take this into account when choosing the size.

HIG - High Insulation Garment

Gore Windstopper and G-Loft materials guarantee breathability, wind tightness and protection against moisture. Even if the jacket is completely soaked, it retains up to 85% of its thermal capacity. The comfort temperature range of this garment is -20°C (EN 342).
